The 9/11 Museum Audio Guide

The museum’s audio guide is sold separately at the museum in nine languages including American Sign Language. It is not included in the timed ticket. It carries audio description and is VoiceOver-compatible, with ASL video tours. The memorial outside has a separate audio guide, free, on the Bloomberg Connects app.

The audio guide is bought on site, not through the timed ticket. Audio description for blind and low-vision visitors is on the same device, along with ASL video tours; induction loops throughout the museum serve T-coil hearing aids, and videos carry open captions. Braille and large-print maps are available on request.

The free memorial audio guide

The Bloomberg Connects app carries a free audio guide to the memorial plaza: the pools, the names, the Survivor Tree and the Glade. It works outdoors and needs no ticket. The guided-or-self-guided page compares both audio guides with the museum’s 60-minute tours.
